Deluxe Kid’s Program
Our Deluxe Kid’s program is designed to give children from ages 7-11 a head start on life, while also teaching them the fundamentals of acting for the camera, such as slating, continuity, “hitting the mark”, and framing. This workshop also explores the world of social graces, including posture, etiquette and manners, to begin addressing the area of self-confidence by working on personal care and grooming. We help to identify your child’s uniqueness, enhance their personal style, and provide them with goal setting techniques. For graduation your child will show off what they have learned and perform a live fashion show. In addition, we will work on developing marketing strategies to give parents and their children a sound basis for exploring the entertainment industry through film, television, and modeling auditions. Our goal is to help your child find their true potential while creating self-esteem that lasts a lifetime.

Deluxe Commercial Acting Package

Commercial Acting Business Description
Commercial Acting Business Class: A comprehensive, deluxe acting package to get you agency-ready. Basic acting techniques, improvisation, on-camera skills, and commercial business vocabulary will be taught. You will end up with all the marketing tools you need for the commercial acting business (a professional quality headshot and resume, an audition monologue ready to go) and the skills necessary to successfully compete in the market place. Each class in the course is 2 & a 1/2 hours each, 2 per week. The number of sessions vary from 10 to 16 classes, and usually depends on class size.
Part I
The Business of Commercial Acting
In these classes (book ending the other classes at the beginning and at the end) we will examine the business side of show business. Students will learn the building blocks for creating a successful career in the Twin Cities, with particular emphasis on the commercial and theatrical acting markets. This class will prepare the students to find their place in the local agency market.
Part 2
Acting 1
This section of the class is designed to give the beginning actor the tools necessary to act. Every class of this section contains exercises pertinent to the goal of the class, which will lay the groundwork for solid acting technique. The student will also learn basic stagecraft of taking direction and blocking, acting vocabulary and they will learn a monologue that will be staged and performed at the end of the session.
Part 3
Commercial Auditioning
This part of the class is designed for the beginning acting student to learn the basic techniques of auditioning and performing for television commercials. Students are introduced to basic camera technique and terminology, slating, MOS behavior, slice of life portrayal, interpretation of commercial copy, cold reading, and audition technique. Also more information regarding the business of the industry will be discussed.
